This class aims to provide student engineers the basic mathematical and physical tools in
order to approach electric and electronic circuits. This module introduces students to simple DC electric circuits, 1st and 2nd order differential
equations, and the mathematical tools for dealing with conduction

The course covers :
- The physics of conduction problems
- Direct current electro-kinetics
- Ohm's and Pouillets's laws
- Kircchoff's laws
- Thévenin's
- Norton's theorems
- First order differential equations (separable variable equations, homogeneous
equations linear equations) - Second order differential equations (equations which reduce to the first order,
homogeneous equations) - linear equations with constant coefficients
- Charged particle motion in an electromagnetic field
