Signal theory : determinist signals

ELE 303 (A21)

Professor Y. Delignon
Methods Lectures, Seminar, Independent Study
  30 hours
Prerequisites ELE 204L
ECTS 5

Introduction of the principal tools for treatment of the deterministic signal. Studies of the representation of the signals in the fields temporal and frequential, of linear filtering invariant in time as well as sampling and modulation. These basic concepts constitute a first approach in theory of the signal and will serve for the ELE 304 modules "Random and digital signals" and ELE 305 "Communications theory" like for various scientific options.

This class covers :
- Definition of a signal, classification of signals
- Vectorial representation for signals
- Fourrier series and transformation.
- Spectral density
- Linear filtering
- Modulation

Individual global synthesis of the Unit of Value: coefficient 2
Individual control: coefficient 1
