ELE 304 (A22)

Professor Laurent Clavier
Methods Lectures, Seminar, Practical work, Independent Study
  30 hours
Prerequisites ELE 303 (A21), probability notions, series and integrals arithmetic, complex numbers.
ECTS 5

This class follows upon ELE 303 class. It aims to teach random signal notions and basic treatement methods.

- Fourier Transform (discrete Fourier Transform, inverse Fourier Transform, some Fourier Transform properties).
- Digital Filtering (definitions, recursive and non recursive filters, finite and infinite impulse response filters, digital filters synthesis, digital filters structure).
- Probability theory recalls (probability mathematic elements, real random variables, some properties of real random variables, random couples and vectors).
- Random processes, stationnarity (introduction, definition, stationnarity, processes with independent increases, ergodism, Poisson process, Gaussian process).
- Random signals : spectral analysis and filtering (introduction, spectral representation and stationnarity, white noise, random processes filtering).
