To discover and study those business activities which relate to the different aspects of commercial and/or marketing functions of a company or institution by taking part in the work of one or more of its business operations .

 

Written evaluation: The study report
The report should be 25 pages long,
- A succinct presentation of the company,
- An analysis of the commercial and/or marketing functions related to the company strategy.
- The most possible complete description and analysis of commercial/marketing functions, market analysis, marketing mix…
- An analysis of the activities performed.
- An strategic consideration from general analysis but also more arising from punctual facts relating to the activities undertaken.
The student must take an objective stance and conducts careful considerations on the company communication strategy allowing him/her eventually some evolutionary propositions.

Oral evaluation: Half-day presentation
At the internship end, the student will do a presentation.
For the marketing oriented topics, the student should present a study (market study, concurrence study...) to customers using visual support aid like Power Point.
For the commercial oriented topics, the student should simulate a face to face sales negotiation. The student should establish a notice with the following informations:
- The context of the negotiation (company size, activity sector, geographical implantations…)
- Negotiation actors and their specific roles.
- Object of the negotiation.
A jury will be set up composed of professionals involved in marketing or commercial negotiation activities.
