It is a course which introduces in a practical way, the principles and concepts of the protocols of routing. For that, the student will be also brought, to implement, the directed programming object and to familiarize themselves with the API ones of communication in series mode. To illustrate these principles the course will be limited to the study of the protocols of routing of the "transparent" type and directed "source" (ex: 802.5) for then, implementer and to implement an alternative of the algorithm of the "routing source" on a "simple" network (only one switch).

This module will enable them to :
   - acquire the basic understanding of network routing (transparent bridging et source routing).
   - learn how to use a simple serial API.

The principles addressed in this course are applied in a C++ developpement project.
