The objective of the module is :
-To know the technology of the supports of transmission out of optical fibre and coaxial cable and of the components of end of a cabled network.
-To know the basic rules of ingeniery of a cabled network.
-To know what is an analogical video signal and to control its insertion in a channel of television on cabled network

This module will enable students to :
   - acquire the basic understanding of cable network engineering.
   - understand optical fiber and coaxial cable transmission.

The principles addressed in this course are applied during different lab sessions, dealing with optical mux, couplers, reflectometers, video transmission...
